Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur should win this encounter with ease, even though they are away from home.
Burnley are struggling for survival in the Premier League and will make life difficult for Spurs, but the North London outfit have more than enough quality to pick up all three points at Turf Moor.
Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa
This game promises to be a very interesting one, especially as this will be the first time that Tim Sherwood will arrive as an opponent at White Hart Lane since being sacked as the Tottenham manager at the end of last season.
Spurs will be favourites to pick up all three points, but the Villa players are more confident under Sherwood’s management and would put up a huge fight.
A draw is not out of question, but Tottenham will probably just edge this one.
Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur
This will be a tricky game for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and one they could even lose. Spurs will probably be favourites, but it is not easy to win against Newcastle in front of over 50,000 fans at St. James’ Park.
Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur
A game between two top-four hopefuls, this encounter could go a long well in deciding who between Southampton and Tottenham qualify for next season’s Champions League campaign.
The Saints will be looking to use home advantage to the maximum, and the Spurs attackers have to be at the top of their game to breach the hosts’ citadel.
One suspects that a single goal could decide the outcome of this encounter.
