QPR’s season appears destined to end in relegation, but there have been some highlights.
With eight games left in the Premier League, it is unlikely that Chris Ramsey will be able to lead the R’s to Premier League survival.
Since taking permanent charge in February, following the departure of Harry Redknapp, Ramsey has failed to win a single game, and the West London club would have to enjoy a miracle end to the season if they intend to stay in the top flight.
Despite what has been a very poor campaign, the R’s have enjoyed the rare highlight. Charlie Austin has been a welcome addition to the Premier League, while the 2-2 draw with Manchester City was a real high point.
The highlights may have been few and far between for the R’s, but here are the club’s three best moments of the 2014/15 Premier League season.
Charlie Austin celebrates scoring QPR’s first goal of the Premier League season, in their first win of the campaign - a 1-0 victory over Sunderland.
Leroy Fer takes a set-piece as QPR secure a 2-2 draw with reigning Premier League champions Manchester City - a game the R’s should have won.
Austin claims the match ball with his first ever Premier League hat-trick as the R’s overcome West Bromwich Albion 3-2.
