Krystian Bielik plays alongside five of Arsenal's first-team stars

Arsenal's 17-year-old defensive midfielder played alongside some very famous faces this week.

Arsenal’s January signing Krystian Bielik was among the players on show as the Gunners’ under-21s took on Brentford on Tuesday.

While many of Arsenal’s first-team stars are currently away on international duty, this was a chance for some of those returning from injury to get some much needed game-time.

It also gave teenager Bielik the opportunity to play alongside some of the stars he will be hoping to emulate in the years to come.

Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy, Abou Diaby, Mathieu Flamini and Jack Wilshere all featured in the match, with the latter getting on the score-sheet.

Dan Crowley also scored for Arsenal, along with Alex Iwobi who netted a brace.

The match ended 4-0 to the Gunners and it will have been a welcome run-out for some players hoping to have a significant impact in what remains of the current campaign.

That is likely to come too soon for Bielik; but this is another step on his road to a first-team spot at Arsenal, and it would have done him no harm at all after his previous outings for the club’s under-18s and his one other match for the under-21s against Derby County.
