France returned to winning ways on Sunday evening when they got the better of Denmark 2-0 at home in a friendly international.
The Euro 2016 hosts headed into the game at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Etienne on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Brazil.
Didier Deschamps’s side had lost their encounter against the South American giants despite taking the lead, but against Denmark they did not let their advantage slip.
Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette put France ahead in Saint-Etienne in the 14th minute with his first goal for his country.
Dimitri Payet brilliantly teed up Antoine Griezmann, and although Denmark international goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel made the save, Lacazette slammed home the rebound.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud doubled France’s advantage seven minutes before the half-time interval when he turned in Geoffrey Kondogbia’s pass.
Denmark were unlucky not to halve the deficit on the stroke of half time, when former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner’s header came off the woodwork.
