One of Manchester United's current players has been speaking about the remaining matches this season.
The 29-year-old has not had the campaign many expected following his deadline-day move from AS Monaco, scoring only four goals to date.
But after his brace for Colombia against Bahrain last week, the forward has good news for those United fans still holding out for him to turn things round at Old Trafford.
“Much is being said but I am one hundred per cent with Manchester United,” Falcao said. “There are eight games left (in the league) and I hope that the situation will change.”
There is no reason why it should not, with Falcao’s recent international brace showing he still knows where the goal is and United facing some crucial fixtures in the months to come.
Falcao may have been used sparingly in recent times but his talent in the box means United manager Louis van Gaal would be wise to use him if upcoming matches against the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal remain tight heading into the final minutes.
Falcao may even get a few more starts before his loan deal ends, and those who know what he can do when fit and firing will not have given up hope that he still makes a considerable impact in whatever time he has left at United.
