The talented forward celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday.

Leeds United have showcased plenty of young talent this season. The likes of Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt have come on leaps and bounds whilst Lewis Cook and Charlie Taylor have really burst onto the scene.

The next name set to come from the Leeds academy is attacker Lewis Walters.

The pacey forward has already been touted by manager Neil Redfearn for a future at the club and is hoping to progress into the first-team before the end of the season.

He has been suffering with a knee problem for most of the campaign but has recently been included in the travelling squad for the Leeds game at Brighton and warmed up on the pitch before the tie with Millwall earlier this month.

Yesterday was his birthday. The attacker is now 20-years-old, no longer a teen, and likely to be excited about his future with the club.

But as it was his birthday, there was time for him to be left embarrassed on Twitter.

One of his mates decided to post this picture of the forward as a bairn, in full kit, in a nostalgic snapshot.

Truth is this picture was likely not to be taken that long ago.

Leeds fans are proud of their current youth system and will be hoping that Walters is yet another graduate who shines for years to come.

Who knows, a debut might be in sight?

If he does, you could probably still use this picture for reference.
