Two Chelsea players' contracts expiring, Didier Drogba and Gael Kakuta should both go

Drogba & Kompany - Chelsea v Man City

The striker and winger should be allowed to move on this summer.

The season is coming to an end and with the international break clubs have plenty of opportunity at this moment in time to consider who will remain at the club and who will not.

That includes those whose contracts are coming to an end.

Chelsea are one team who are generally good at tieing down players to long-term deals, with most of their youngsters even signed up until 2016 at least.

Even the vast majority of their swathe of youngsters out on loan are well contracted.

That being said two players at Chelsea become free agents in the summer, so who should stay and who should go?

Didier Drogba - GO

The Ivorian is a club legend. With striking reinforcements needed this summer he was one of three to arrive at Stamford Bridge along with Loic Remy and Diego Costa.

In his second stint with the club he has managed six goals in 33 appearances, the majority of which have come as a substitute.

But this summer Chelsea should let him go for good. The likes of Dom Solanke and Izzy Brown deserve a shot at the club, which will not happen with Drogba blocking their path.

Gael Kakuta - GO

Signed as a hot prospect, he even caused a transfer embargo at Chelsea.

He is having a very good season out on loan with Rayo Vallecano, perhaps his best loan stint yet.

However, a Chelsea future seems unlikely.

Time for him to move on permanently.
