The talented midfielder is reportedly on his way to Glasgow.
Ahmad Benali is certainly an interesting prospect.
Benali was born and raised in Manchester. He spent 11 years on the books of Manchester City, spending an unhappy month on loan at Rochdale but he has built an excellent reputation in Italian football with his performances in Serie B.
The Italian club however has some serious financial problems, which has seen him linked with plenty of teams in recent weeks and months.
Now the Libyan looks set to be on his way to Celtic.
The Bhoys are reportedly set to snap him up ahead of competition from Everton and Real Sociedad, according to a report TMW.
The Italian source is claiming that the midfield talent has accepted a deal with Celtic and will be joining the Glasgow club in the summer.
Benali is not out of contract in the summer, meaning the SPL side will have to pay a fee for the player, despite reports to the contrary.
However, given the financial issues surrounding the Serie B side Celtic will not have to shell out for the 23-year-old, who has played twice for the Libyan national team.
Celtic fans will now be very excited to see the player in the future, if these reports prove to be correct.
