Fans react on Twitter to Jordan Henderson's performance for England

Liverpool FC - Seeing Is Believing - Jordan Henderson

England defeated Lithuania 4-0 on Friday but what did fans think of Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson's contribution?

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson earned his 19th international cap on Friday evening when he turned out for England against Lithuania in their Euro 2016 qualifying match at Wembley.

England ran out comfortable winners, with Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Harry Kane and Henderson’s Liverpool teammate Raheem Sterling scoring the goals.

But how did Henderson do during his time on the pitch, and what did the supporters think of his contribution?

There were some things that Henderson did well and others that he will look back on with regret.

For example, the man tipped to become Liverpool’s next permanent captain had a passing accuracy of just 77.5 per cent which, when you consider the opponents and the venue, is simply not good enough for a player of his calibre.

He also failed to find the target with any of his three goal attempts, although he did play three key passes while six of his eight long balls found a teammate.

After the match we took to Twitter to see what England supporters thought of the Liverpool vice-captain’s performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
