Chelsea defender Filipe Luis is preparing for a tough challenge when he faces Alexis Sanchez as Brazil take on Chile this Sunday.
The full-back is hoping to start the game and is quoted by The Mirror talking up the Arsenal man, and his achievements this season.
Luis was on the bench when Chelsea beat Arsenal earlier this season and shackled Sanchez successfully, but knows all about him from their La Liga days.
He said: “Alexis is a great player, he has scored a lot of goals and is helping Arsenal have a very good campaign.
“I played against him a lot of times for Atletico Madrid when he was at Barcelona and I know he is really dangerous and we have to be really careful to stop him.
“All the players, all want to play the best games always and playing against Alexis, he is a difficult opponent and we will have to be concentrated to stop him.”
Sanchez gave Luis' Atletico a real fright last season when he scored for Barcelona in the end of season decider, which ended up a 1-1 draw. Atletico won the title as a result but had Barcelona won the game they would have ended up La Liga champions.
The match could be ideal preparation for Luis for facing Sanchez again, for it is at The Emirates stadium, where the Chilean is bound to receive a big ovation.
Arsenal host Chelsea at the end of next month on April 26.
