Report: Tottenham and Aston Villa monitoring bargain Serie A midfielder El Kaddouri

Tottenham Hotpsur, Aston Villa and Southampton are all linked with signing Torino midfielder Omar El Kaddouri.

Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Southampton are all considering signing Serie A based midfielder Omar El Kaddouri, report Tuttomercatoweb.

The 24-year-old is on a season long loan at Torino from Napoli, where he has played in 38 games all season.

Torino have an option to buy him for €4.7 million, but the latest report states that his agent is seeking alternative options. El Kaddouri is represented by Mino Raiola, who is also an agent for Mario Balotelli among others.

El Kaddouri has a contract at Napoli until 2017, and has made 13 appearances in the Europa League this season.

He is a Moroccan international, but represented Belgium at under-21 level, for who he once scored against England.

He would add depth in a key are at Spurs, Villa or Southampton, with his price representing a bargain for a player of his calibre and recent experience.

He was in 2012 compared to a French legend by former Brescia coach Paolo Manfredi, who told Italian radio station Radio Crc reported by Goal: "He reminds me of Zidane. He has a lot of technique and can play all the roles of attack. He has time to grow and become a better player."
