The Scot has done some good work with the club since he took over earlier this year, but the prediction doesn’t seem to suggest much confidence that Forest can make the top six by the end of the campaign.
The poor run of form, which led to Stuart Pearce being fired, is what has cost the side and not any recent blip in results produced by Freedman.
In reality, it’s going to be difficult for Forest, but the addition of Chuba Akpom in the loan market will definitely help the side moving forward over the rest of the season.
Forest just have to focus on winning all of their games and if they do that, other teams above them in the table are going to drop points.
If they don’t pull it off, it will be a case of going back to the drawing board and improving things over the summer to ensure Forest are never in a similar position again.
