Football Web Pages has predicted what the Championship table will look like at the end of the season and it suggests that Leeds United will finish just inside the top half of the table.
Neil Redfearn will want his team to push as hard as possible over the rest of the season, but it’s a position the club would have taken considering their struggles over the first half of the campaign.
Redfearn seems to have got the right balance over when and how to use his young squad, with a pressure coming this summer to improve the side further and put the team into a position where they can start thinking about promotion.
The biggest positive related to the current side has to be the younger players with Lewis Cook, Alex Mowatt, Sam Byram and Charlie Taylor and plenty more, all talented examples of the good work the club is doing developing youngsters.
It’s going to be a difficult final few weeks of the season because Leeds aren’t in danger of going down and they are too far away from the top six.
