Manchester City media round-up: Chance of club getting Ancelotti is revealed

A round up of news stories this morning related to Manchester City.

Sport Witness has reported that Manchester City reportedly have a 50% chance of Carlo Ancelotti becoming their next manager.

The Italian has been tipped as one of the coaches who is likely to come in and replace Manuel Pellegrini.

The Chilean is under massive pressure and could lose his job at the end of the season if he hasn’t won a trophy.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has commented on the possibility of 50 England caps, as reported by the FA’s website.

He currently has 48 and will reach the 50 mark if he plays in both of the games against Lithuania and Italy.

He doesn’t appear to be content and wants several more caps before he retires.

“I am honoured to play every single game I have done for England and for it to be 48 so far is fantastic but I just want to keep playing,” he said.

Frank Lampard has been pictured by the Daily Mail arriving in New York to watch MLS side New York City.

NYC are City’s sister club, with Lampard recently playing on loan for Manuel Pellegrini from the American team.

He will link up with them in the near future as he begins his career in the MLS before he likely retires.
