Four Sunderland players' contracts expiring, Anthony Reveillere should stay, Wes Brown should go

Reveillere Maloney

The rest of the Sunderland squad is contracted until 2016 or further.

The season is coming to an end and with the international break clubs have plenty of opportunity at this moment in time to consider who will remain at the club and who will not.

That includes those whose contracts are coming to an end.

Four players at Sunderland become free agents in the summer, so who should stay and who should go?

Wes Brown - GO

The former Manchester United defender is way, way, past his best. Calamitous at times this season, Sunderland should let him walk.

Fresh blood however may not always be the case, as Sunderland should keep...

Anthony Reveillere - STAY

He may be a veteran but he has impressed since arriving at the club. He looks like he could easily adapt to play centrally as well and, at the right price, Sunderland should keep him on board.

Andrew Cartwright - GO

A talented player but probably not going to make the grade at Sunderland.

Carl Lawson - GO

He only just earned a new deal last summer. Since then his improvements have not been great and Sunderland will not notice if he is gone.
