The Belgian has a hamstring problem which has ruled him out of international duty.
It is the international break which for many players at Everton means meeting up with their respective nations and getting into action with their country.
Unfortunately for Romelu Lukaku that is not the case.
The Belgian has been ruled out of the Red Devils squad for upcoming fixtures with Cyprus and Israel after picking up a hamstring problem. The bullish striker is not expected to be out for a significant amount of time and Everton fans will hope he is back in time for the fixture with Southampton next weekend.
He has now posted this on his official Instagram account, ensuring fans know that he is working hard on his recovery.
Everton know they need Lukaku to get back to full fitness fast. He has been the star player for the club recently. He has netted goals for fun in recent weeks and is certainly looking like the player the club spent a record sum on to bring in permanently in the summer.
The former Chelsea striker is also needed as Everton are still dangerously close to the relegation battle and with Arouna Kone their only other recognised striker, Toffees fans know his recovery is paramount.
