Microsoft's free games with Gold program doubles its free games next month for Xbox One and Xbox 360, including Child of Light and Terraria.

We knew it was coming, and now the lineup of free games available through Xbox's Games with Gold program for April have been announced.

Over on Major Nelson's blog today it was announced that the six free Games with Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360 next month are Pool Nation FX and Child of Light, both for Xbox One; along with Terraria, Gears of War Judgement, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel for Xbox 360.

The two free Xbox One games will be available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers from 1st April until the end of that month.

Xbox 360 owners with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will be able to freely download Terraria and Gears from 1st-15th April, with AC: Black Flag and Army of Two being made available from 16th-30th April.

The extra free games offer next month is part of Xbox Live's celebration of over 100 million free games downloaded through the Games with Gold program since launch. So, don't expect this amount of free games every month, as it's just a one-time offer.

We'll bring you more details about each game, and a reminder of when they're free to download, on 1st April.

Don't forget, you can still pick up March's free games before April arrives too, so don't miss out.
