Nottingham Forest and Leeds United both feature in a list of the top 20 biggest clubs in the Premier League and Football League.

The Daily Mail has produced a list of the top 20 biggest clubs in the Premier League and Football League, which makes for very interesting read.

Nottingham Forest sneak into the top 20, with Leeds United joint 13th alongside fellow Championship team Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The top six involves the Premier League big boys as would be expected with Manchester United perceived to be the biggest club in the top four divisions.

The paper has produced the table based on a number of different areas, with things like fan base and consistent league performances taken into account.

From Forest’s and Leeds’s points of view, it makes for good reason because neither club has had the season so far that they would have been hoping for.

Both will want to try and force their way into the Premier League looking ahead to next season, which would stand to push them further up the list.

The varying factors suggests both sides are in very good shape and their fortunes will change when they both move free of the shackles currently over them because of a transfer embargo.
