Report: West Ham and Newcastle want exciting Championship midfielder star

Newcastle United, West Ham United, Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion are all said to be keen on Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Rohan Ince.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United and Newcastle United are interested in signing Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Rohan Ince at the end of the season.

Ince has been one of the Seagulls' best performers throughout the 2014/15 campaign, and both West Ham and Newcastle have identified him as a player ready to make the step-up to the Premier League.

The pair face competition from Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion for Ince's signature, but they are said to be hopeful of completing a deal.

Impact for West Ham?

If Ince were to join, he would follow in the footsteps of Aaron Cresswell, who moved to the Boleyn Ground from Ipswich Town last season.

Cresswell had never made a Premier League appearance prior to linking up with the Hammers, but he has been a revelation in East London would be hoping that Ince's addition would be similarly successful.

The 22-year-old would add power and poise to their midfield ranks and would provide them with good cover in that position.

Impact for Newcastle?

Newcastle have shown a willingness to buy from the Championship, with Nottingham Forest duo Karl Darlow and Jamaal Lascelles targeted last summer.

Those two were loaned back to Forest this season, but Ince would likely be a player that Newcastle feel could offer them something straight away.

The England youth international is a fine prospect and appears to have the skill set required to make it in the Premier League.
