Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has been praised for the impact, intelligence and effort he’s shown since he replaced Darko Milanic earlier in the season.
One fan has even paid him a superhero related tribute for the impact he’s had at Elland Road and he looks delighted as a result.
Redfearn has done a great job to drag Leeds away from the bottom of the table and up towards safety with a very young group of players and his hands tied in terms of who he’s been able to bring into the club.
The issue of his own contract is set to be sorted out this summer and it will be interesting to see if there is any hesitation on the part of the club in terms of offering him a new contract.
There shouldn’t be, with a very realistic case for extending his deal by more than one year, changing it from the current 12-month rolling status.
Redfearn will already be working away on ideas and plans for next season and hopefully he’ll be just as happy and popular with Leeds fans this time next season.
