The two were good friends when the young attacker was still at Liverpool.
The future of Spanish talent Suso at Liverpool was long a topic of discussion at Anfield. With his contract expiring in the summer it was always going to be interesting to see how events panned out for the talent.
In January he made his move. AC Milan completed a protracted and difficult transfer negotiation to get hold of the player in the winter and he is now a Rossoneri.
Yesterday was also a big day in his career, as he scored his first two goals for the club. Suso netted a fantastic brace in a friendly against Reggiana yesterday, in a comfortable 3-0 win.
One person still at Liverpool undoubtedly delighted at his performance is Jose Enrique.
His Spanish compatriot was one of his best friends at the club and was often seen to be joking around with the talent on Twitter.
Yesterday however he had nothing but congratulations for Suso's eye-catching performance:
Suso was highly rated at Liverpool by both fans and coaching staff but he simply did not have the patience to wait for his opportunity in the first-team. The lure of playing in the San Siro proved to much and he must now try to break into the first-team picture in Italy.
Performances like this certainly won't hurt.
