Charlton Athletic's former Arsenal prospect Zak Ansah agrees League Two loan deal

The striker will spend the rest of the season with promotion chasing Plymouth Argyle.

Last summer Arsenal let plenty of their young players leave the club. One man who did find his way out of the club was Zak Ansah.

The Ghanaian youth international, son of TV personality Andy Ansah, left Arsenal without ever playing a game for the club.

He managed to sign on at Championship side Charlton Athletic. Almost a year down the line however and Ansah is still waiting for his first professional appearance in the game.

The Addicks are yet to use the 20-year-old but he might finally get his chance before the end of the season - afte Plymouth Argyle snapped him up on loan until the end of the season.

The League Two side have brought him in to help with their push for a play-off spot.

Plymouth were likely impressed with the player after he recently netted two hat-tricks for the Charlton development side.

So far Ansah has struggled to grab his professional career by the scruff of the neck since his Arsenal release but it looks like he might be making the right steps now.

Plenty of Arsenal fans will be hoping he does himself proud in the fourth tier.
