West Ham United-owned Elliot Lee reacts on Twitter to Luton Town’s defeat to Wycombe Wanderers

West Ham United-owned Elliot Lee scored twice for Luton Town against Wycombe Wanderers in League Two on Tuesday.

West Ham United-owned striker Elliot Lee has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at failing to lead Luton Town to a win on Tuesday evening.

The 20-year-old scored twice for his on-loan club against Wycombe Wanderers at home in League Two, but they were not enough for the Hatters to pick up all three points.

Earlier this evening, Lee posted the following message on Twitter.

Despite Luton’s 3-2 defeat, Lee gave a good account of himself at Kenilworth Road, scoring in the seventh and in the 38th minute.

The 20-year-old joined Luton on loan from Premier League outfit West Ham in February and has played impressively so far.

The youngster has scored three goals and provided one assist in six games for Luton, who are currently sixth in the League Two table with 58 points from 38 matches.

John Still’s side are unlikely to finish in the top three in the league standings and gain automatic promotion to League One, but they are very much in the running for a playoff spot.
