Stefan Johansen has highlighted the importance of manager Ronny Deila in his Celtic career to Norwegian station TV2.
Johansen has been on the books of Celtic since January 2014, but it is only this season that he has started to play well.
The central midfielder has established himself as a key player in the current Bhoys team, and he has now explained just why he feels so settled at Celtic.
“We have developed as a team, and I have developed as a player,” the 24-year-old told TV2. “I experience a sense of security with Ron here, and I really enjoy where I am.”
Both Johansen and Deila are from Norway, which is perhaps why the two have a good understanding of each other.
Recently Deila told TV2 that the midfielder is good enough to play in the Premier League - it shows just how highly the Stromsgodset star is rated by his manager.
Deila took a while to get his ideas through to the Celtic players, and it now appears that the manager has everyone behind him.
With the Bhoys gunning for the treble this season, things are falling into place for Deila, who has proved that he is a very good manager.
The way Deila has handled Johansen and made him feel secure underlines his brilliant man-management technique.
