Former Tottenham ace Gareth Bale is hoping to put his Real troubles behind him with Wales.

Real Madrid record signing Gareth Bale has been given the perfect escape to his current troubles at the club.

He featured in full training for Wales ahead of their upcoming international fixtures, linking up with former North London derby rival Aaron Ramsey.

Bale has been made a scapegoat by the Spanish media in light of their El Clasico defeat to Barcelona at the weekend, and has scored just twice in his last 11 games.

Bale completed only 57 per cent of his passes at the Nou Camp, and his body language after the final whistle displayed that of a very frustrated individual.

With Wales however he was all smiles, and the break could do him the world of good. Bale, 25, has 14 goals in 46 games for his country. Ramsey has eight in 32.

Wales are in action on Saturday away to Israel in their one and only fixture this international break. They are currently on eight points after five games, with Israel on nine after three, and it is a must-win match where Bale and Ramsey will have to be at their best to set the side up nicely heading into June's match with Belgium.
