England’s under-20 side have a great chance to make an impression this evening in their game against Mexico.
The under-20 squad has some very talented youngsters on show with the likes of Alex Mowatt of Leeds United and Ben Osborn of Nottingham Forest two superb players in the middle of the team.
There are some well-established players in the under-20 squad and it’s a good chance for them to show that they’ve got enough about them to go up another level if required, as they all push for the under-21 ranks ahead of the Euros this summer.
Clubs all over the UK are going to be watching this match nervously to check the progress of their players and to ensure there are no injuries, with some very important domestic action after this current break.
Fingers crossed that all of the players on show make it through the game okay before the match against the USA. Hopefully the only talking points after this match are about impressive performances and results.
