Porto right-back Danilo admits that he's very happy that his performances this season have caught the eye of Europe's top clubs.
Porto right-back Danilo has confessed that he is excited to be linked with some of Europe's biggest sides.
The 23-year-old defender touched down in Paris to join his Brazilian national team ahead of their 26 March friendly against France and was asked by Brazilian and European journalists, including those from Spanish publication AS, for his thoughts on being linked with Real Madrid, with many reporting that the deal is already done.
However, Danilo insists that he has not closed a deal with Real Madrid and has not given his future any thought but is happy with the interest from one of the best clubs in the world.
"I'm living a great moment at Porto," he said.
"It's natural that I'm being linked to the big clubs, but I'm focussed on the national team and Porto but I'm happy to be linked with great clubs like Madrid. I haven't spoken much about it with Marcelo. When the season ends, we'll know more about my situation and my future."
While Danilo is believed to have finalised a deal with Real Madrid last month, other reports speculate that his former Santos teammate Neymar is trying to convince the defender to make a move to the Camp Nou and replace Brazilian veteran Dani Alves, whose contract expires in June 2015.
Danilo joined Porto on a €13 million move from Santos in January 2012 with the player signing on until June 2016 with a €50 million release.
