Celtic were said by the Daily Mail to be keen on making Guidetti's loan move a permanent one at the end of the season, but the Swedish striker's comments have now plunged his future into doubt.
The 22-year-old has already stated to STV that he wants to join Feyenoord and Larsson had some words of advice for his compatriot earlier today.
“I don’t believe Celtic will appreciate John’s comments about Feyenoord. He is in the position now where he has to choose his next move," he said.
“I did it, of course, in my last year at Celtic when I announced I was not going to renew my contract because I said I wanted to play somewhere [where it was] warm.
“But my situation was very different because I had delivered consistently when I was there.”
Would Guidetti be a good buy for Celtic?
Guidetti made a blistering start to his Celtic career, but as the season has progressed he has begun to struggle and there are now questions marks over whether it would even be worth the Bhoys pursuing him.
Leigh Griffiths has overtaken Guidetti in the pecking order at Parkhead and he appears to be the the main striker in Ronny Deila's team.
Although it is likely that Celtic will still be on the lookout for a new front-man this summer, Guidetti may not be the right man.
The Manchester City loanee has shown his petulant side over recent months, with his actions at the end of the Scottish League Cup final particularly revealing, and Celtic may be better off looking elsewhere in the summer.
