Everton fans react on Twitter to Aaron Lennon’s performance against Queens Park Rangers

Tottenham Hotspur-owned Aaron Lennon scored the winner for Everton against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the Premier League on Sunday.

Everton made it two wins out of two in the Premier League on Sunday, when they got the better of Queens Park Rangers away from home.

The Toffees returned to winning ways last weekend when they hammered Newcastle United 3-0 at Goodison Park.

Although getting knocked out of the Europa League at the last-16 stage on Thursday was a disappointment, Everton bounced back in style on Sunday.

Right-back Seamus Coleman put Roberto Martinez’s side in the lead after just 18 minutes with a clinical finish on the counter-attack.

QPR came back strongly, though, as substitute Eduardo Vargas fired home the equaliser in the 65th minute.

However, it was Everton who had the last laugh, as Tottenham Hotspur-owned Aaron Lennon struck what proved to be the winner from close range on 77 minutes.

It was the 27-year-old winger’s first goal for the Merseyside outfit since joining them on loan from Spurs in the January transfer window.

Victory over QPR at Loftus Road in London has lifted Everton up to 13th in the Premier League table with 34 points from 30 matches.

Following the win, Everton fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Lennon.
