Danny Rose on what’s ‘scary’ about Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane

Defence - Spurs v Chelsea

Danny Rose speaks highly of Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has been singing the praises of teammate Harry Kane on the club’s official website.

Kane has been in brilliant form so far this season and was again sensational at the weekend.

The youngster scored his first Premier League hat-trick, as Spurs got the better of Leicester City 4-3 at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

The 21-year-old now has 19 goals in 26 Premier League appearances this season, leading Rose to shower him with praise.

The former Leeds United prospect has also highlighted the fact that Kane can score all sorts of goals.

“It’s very scary as he’s only 21,” Rose told Tottenham’s official website. “Obviously I don’t want to jinx him but I can happily tell people that it’s no fluke all the goals that he scores - right foot, left foot and shots from outside the box, you expect him to score or at least hit the target.

“I’m very happy for him and we hope he manages to earn an England cap or two and gets on the scoresheet.”

Kane is an all-round forward who can score goals from anywhere, an attribute that makes it tough for defenders to mark him.

The youngster is enjoying a breakthrough season and has deservedly earned a call to the England national team.

Kane is not the finished product yet and doubts remain whether he can really become a ‘great’ striker, but it can be said with certainty that he has the ability to progress even further.
