Aston Villa youngsters react on Twitter after being offered new contracts

Rory Hale, Harry McKirdy and Charlie Bannister have been offered new contracts by Aston Villa.

Aston Villa youngster Rory Hale has taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal that he has been offered a new contract by the club.

Hale is not part of the first team at the moment and is playing for the youth team, but it seems that he has been given the chance to remain at the Villans for the foreseeable future.

Although Villa themselves have not made any official announcement yet, the youngster has stated that he has been offered a new deal.

Earlier this evening, Hale took to Twitter to make the following post:

Fellow Villa youngsters Harry McKirdy and Charlie Bannister were also offered professional contracts today, which they announced on their respective Twitter accounts.

Hale is a right-sided midfielder who has represented Northern Ireland at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels.

McKirdy is a versatile footballer who can play in central midfield and in attacking midfield. He has been at Villa since joining from Stoke City at the age of 14.

Bannister is a highly-rated goalkeeper and featured regularly in last season’s Under-18 Premier League campaign. He moved to Villa from West Bromwich Albion.
