QPR fans react on Twitter to Bobby Zamora's performance v Everton

Chris Ramsey got some stick for keeping the Queens Park Rangers striker on so long against the Toffees...

It must be tough being a QPR fan this season.

Last term, the R's enjoyed yet more promotion glory as they left the Championship at the first time of asking after being relegated from the Premier League. This time, they are going straight back the other way - at least that's what it looks like.

There was a time this term when QPR were a force to be feared at Loftus Road, with their away form being what kept them rooted to the bottom end of the table. Now, however, the R's simply lose home, away and probably even if they were given a neutral ground.

It's nine defeats in 10 for the west London side after they lost 2-1 to Everton on Sunday afternoon and supporters were understandably miffed - for want of a better word - on Twitter following the defeat.

And a particular target of the QPR faithful's wrath was veteran striker Bobby Zamora, whose goal record at Loftus Road just seems to get worse and worse. Boss Chris Ramsey also received heavy criticism - simply for keeping Zamora on for so long.

Goals from Aaron Lennon and Seamus Coleman gave Everton all three points, despite Eduardo Vargas at one stage equalising for QPR. Here's what R's fans had to say on social media after the Everton loss (mainly about good old Bobby):
