The Magpies looked to be heading for a heavy defeat in the Premier League clash at St. James’ Park, as they were 2-0 up at half time.
France international striker Olivier Giroud had scored both the goals, and it seems that Arsenal were all set for a big win.
However, after the half-time interval, Newcastle stepped up their game and halved the deficit through Moussa Sissoko in the opening minutes of the second half.
Former Newcastle forward Quinn was following the game, and he was pleased with the fightback of the players against Arsenal in the second 45 minutes.

John Carver’s Newcastle side ended the game with 51% of the possession, 17 shots of which only four were on target, and nine corners.
Newcastle are currently 12th in the Premier League table with 35 points from 30 matches.
