Tottenham star Harry Kane continued his sensational season with a hat-trick against Leicester.
Tottenham Hotspur defeated Leicester City 4-3 at White Hart Lane this afternoon - and hat-trick hero Harry Kane spoke to the club's official Twitter account after the game.
Kane, 21, has been one of the sensations of the season, and has now hit 29 goals in all competitions this season after his hat-trick earlier today.
The Tottenham youth product earned his first call-up to the England national team earlier this week, and he proved manager Roy Hodgson right with a stunning display against Leicester City.
Kane notched twice in the first half before completing his hat-trick with a penalty in the second half, and took home the match ball after his first ever Premier League hat-trick.
The young striker is a hero at White Hart Lane, and the worshipping will only continue as long as Kane carries on finding the back of the net on a regular basis.
After the game, Kane spoke to the Tottenham official Twitter account, and spoke of his delight at scoring his first Premier League hat-trick for his boyhood club - even if he was keen to make sure that the focus was on the three points for Tottenham.
"@hkane28: Credit to the lads to get the 3rd & 4th. I'm not thinking about my goals, I just keep working hard. It's been a great week."— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) March 21, 2015
Kane's whirlwind campaign shows no signs of ending any time soon, and his hat-trick is a timely reminder that his exploits this season are no flash in the pan.
