Report: Eriksen 'loving' London life, ready to reject PSG

The 23-year-old Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is reportedly set to snub the Champions League side.

Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is ready to snub Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Sunday People.

The Ligue 1 and Champions League club are reportedly in pursuit of the Dane but Eriksen is said to be loving the London life so much he is ready to tell the French side he is an absolute no go.

At just 23, Eriksen is one of Tottenham's prized possessions but the one thing PSG can offer him that the north London side haven't been able to as of yet is Champions League football.

There may also be the small matter of a greater wage budget to work with...

Harry Kane 8 62 2 90
Ryan Mason 5 81 0 88

Eriksen's form had tailed off of late but, as Opta stats show, he was once again a productive force against Leicester City.

Indeed, at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon, the 23-year-old was a lively presence in the final third as Spurs beat the Foxes 4-3 in an eventful Premier League tie.

Eriksen made more final-third passes than anyone bar Nabil Bentaleb during the Tottenham win and also took more touches of the ball than anyone bar Bentaleb and Danny Rose.

On top of that, the Dane won two dribbles and, of course, scored the north London side's fourth goal. Even when not at his best, then, the midfielder would be a loss were PSG ever to snap him up.
