Wolves registered a superb 2-0 win against the Rams at Molineux in the the Championship.
After a goalless first half, Nouha Dicko broke the deadlock in the opening minutes of the second period when he shot home with his left foot after latching onto a pass from Kevin McDonald.
It became 2-0 to Wolves midway through the second half when goalkeeper Lee Grant scored an own goal.
Former Leeds United midfielder Clayton was following the Championship encounter, and he was delighted to see Derby slip up.

Defeat to Wolves means that Derby are now fifth in the Championship table with 67 points from 39 matches, five points behind Middlesbrough.
Boro, who take on Bournemouth away from home this afternoon, are level on points with leaders Watford but second on goal difference.
Middlesbrough will head into today’s game on the back of a 1-0 victory over Derby at the iPro Stadium.
