Spurs will head into the game at White Hart Lane on the back of a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
However, former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp has predicted the North London outfit to win and star striker Harry Kane to score the opening goal.
“I am going to go for a Spurs win,” the 41-year-old told Sky Sports. “I think they have the quality to win this game, and they have got a man in form, Harry Kane, who is obviously full of confidence and for whom the England call-up will do a world of good.
“I think it will be a tight affair, maybe Tottenham just to win by one goal. I am going to go for 2-1 to Tottenham and Harry Kane, the man on fire at the moment, to get the first goal.”
Could Leicester City stage an upset?
Playing at home and having a better team certainly make Tottenham the favourites for today's game, and it will be nothing less than a surprise if they slip up.
However, taking Leicester lightly would be a mistake, even though the Foxes are struggling for survival in the Premier League this season.
NIgel Pearson’s team are one of the top candidates to go down to the Championship, but they are certainly going to put up a fight at White Hart Lane today.
if Leicester score an early goal, then things could become tricky for Tottenham, who simply cannot afford to make any mistakes today.
