Celtic's Leigh Griffiths tweets reminder about what he's done to Dundee United before

One of Celtic's players has taken to social media ahead of a big match for Ronny Deila's side.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has taken to Twitter ahead of his side’s Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee United.

The two sides know each other extremely well following their recent – and ongoing – encounters, with Celtic defeating them in the Scottish League Cup final last weekend and in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup a few days later.

Now the two sides clash in the league and Griffiths is hoping for three more vital points.

Writing on Twitter on Saturday morning, the 24-year-old front-man said, “Game day. Let’s get the three points and enjoy our weekend.”

He also posted a picture of him scoring against today's opponents, reminding them just what he is capable of.

While Celtic have enjoyed recent victories against today’s opponents they will not be taking anything for granted and they will know United will be desperate for revenge, certainly after last week’s heavy loss coming so soon after defeat in the final.

Griffiths has scored 11 goals this season, including two against today’s opponents, so what chance him making it a hat-trick of sorts this weekend?
