Celtic take on Dundee United this weekend in yet another encounter between the two sides.

The Bhoys have now got the better of their opponents in both the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup and they will be hoping to make it three wins in a week in their latest league encounter.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Stefan Johansen returns for Celtic following his suspension but forward Anthony Stokes sits this one out following his red card in the midweek encounter.

Former Dundee United pair Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong are finally eligible to play against them after being cup-tied for the recent games.

Paul Dixon is back for today’s visitors but Calum Morris, Mario Bilate and Sean Dillon are all injured.

In other news, Celtic player James Forrest has been speaking to the club’s official website following his standout performance during the week.

In comments published in the match-day programme, the winger spoke of his delight at scoring the second goal in last weekend’s League Cup final.

“I was delighted to score and I was buzzing to get on,” Forrest said. “I was just happy to be part of the team that won the cup, as I was for everything that happened that day.

Another goal this afternoon would not go amiss…
