Newcastle have just 13 fit outfield players and it seems that John Carver could be forced to put some of his youngsters into their starting line-up.
The Magpies currently have just one available senior centre-back in Mike Williamson and Satka is set to play alongside the towering 31-year-old at the heart of the Newcastle defence.
It will be a tough test for the Slovakian youngster, as he will have to cope against one of the Premier League's best sides, but Satka is confident in his own ability.
"It doesn't scare me. I don't feel any pressure," he said.
"I want to say I'm ready but I guess you never know until you actually play. But I'm excited. If I get called upon, I'll try my best. Hopefully I'll make my debut and it'll be good for me to be tested against good players."
If Satka does get his debut against Arsenal it would rather go against what Carver stated at his press conference earlier this week.
The Newcastle boss insisted that the time wasn't right to throw inexperienced players into his starting line-up, but it appears that he has had a change of heart.
Satka has made just one Newcastle appearance to date, which came in their FA Cup defeat to Leicester City earlier in the year.
