They've already met in the group stages of the Champions League this season, but in Friday's draw for the quarter-finals of the elite competition, Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona were once more paired together, for another exciting contest, where the two sides will be battling for a place in the semi-finals.
Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona seem to be regular opponents in the competition over recent years. In the group stage this season, PSG won the first encounter 3-2 at Parce des Princes, but at the Camp Nou, Barcelona swept to a 3-1 victory.
During the 2012-13 campaign, the French and Spanish sides also met in the quater-finals, in what was a very tightly fought encounter over the two legs. The final outcome was a 3-3 draw over 180 minutes, but Barcelona edged beyond PSG to the semi-finals, thanks to a superior tally of away goals.
Now faced with the prospect of another titanic struggle between the two stellar sides, it will be another tough one to predict, as to who will earn their place in this season's semi-finals.
Whilst Barcelona might be considered one of the strong favourites, given their superb form in all competitions, PSG will certainly be one of the sternest tests the Catalan giants could possibly face, given how powerfully the two sides have fought in their last encounters.
