Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva was a full participant in training this Friday as the Reds geared up for a crucial clash against Manchester United.
The Brazilian was part of a squad which were clearly in high spirits ahead of Sunday's much anticipated showdown.
Lucas has been out of action for two months, having played a key role in helping Liverpool regain their form, they have been able to continue unbeaten in domestic football in 2015 in his absence.
Defender Jose Enrique was also part of the training session, although he is not expected to start.
Liverpool are three points behind Manchester United at present, and while a loss at Anfield would be disastrous for their top four prospects, a victory would make them real favourites to secure a Champions League spot for 2015/16.
Another player in high spirits was striker Mario Balotelli, who has a previous track record of scoring against United during his time at Manchester City.
