The former Manchester United and Liverpool striker believes that the Foxes will “endure” a “torrid” time in the Premier League clash at White Hart Lane.
“Leicester arrive at White Hart Lane sat bottom of the Premier League and look set to endure another torrid time away from the King Power Stadium on Saturday,” the 35-year-old wrote on Betvictor.com.
“Nigel Pearson’s side have won just one of their last 13 PL games (losing ten) away from home and look to have it all to do against a Spurs side that remain in the hunt for a top-four finish.
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Over 2.5 Goals at 7/10”.
Can Leicester City pull off an upset?
Tottenham will head into this afternoon’s game on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be keen on bouncing back in style, and one suspects that they will do so with ease.
Leicester look doomed for relegation to the Championship and are in a wretched run of form at the moment.
Nigel Pearson’s team have won just two of the 23 Premier League games since they shocked Manchester United at the King Power Stadium in September.
Anything other than a win for Spurs at White Hart Lane would be an upset.
