Former Newcastle United and Rangers attacker Peter Lovenkrands has taken to social networking site Twitter to reminisce of his time spent at German club Schalke.
Lovenkrands was on the books of the Bundesliga outfit from 2006 to 2009, during which time he played alongside Mesut Ozil.
Ozil was a rising star at the time and a youngster, which is why the 35-year-old posted the following photo on Instagram and made a joke of him doing some work before training.
It seems a long time since Ozil was at Schalke. Since leaving the German club, he has played for Werder Bremen and Real Madrid, and is now at Arsenal.
The 26-year-old playmaker has also won the World Cup with Germany and is one of the most creative players in Europe.
Ozil is still not that old, as at 26 he is yet to hit his peak. The former Madrid star has played well since his return from a serious injury, and has re-established himself as a key player in the Arsenal team.
