Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Emiliano Martinez has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Rotherham United on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has moved to the Championship outfit on an emergency loan deal, as announced by the Gunners’ official website on Friday.
The Argentine has been part of the Arsenal first team this season, making as many as three Premier League starts.
Martinez has also made a total of six first-team appearances for the North London outfit this season, and has proved that he can be an able back-up.
However, the youngster was unlikely to get too many minutes at Arsenal for the rest of the season, and he seems to be happy to have got the chance to play at Rotherham.
Rotherham are currently struggling for survival in the Championship and are in real danger of going back down to League One.
The Millers are 20th in the league table at the moment with 40 points from 38 matches, just six points above the relegation zone.
