The Leeds boss heaped praise on the 24-year-old shot stopper.
Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn had only good things to say about goalkeeper Marco Silvestri following another stellar performance from the Italian at Fulham on Wednesday night, according to BBC Radio Leeds.
Silvestri made a number of crucial saves against the Cottagers, helping Leeds achieve a 3-0 win in west London - one that perhaps tells a misleading account of proceedings.
And Redfearn feels the 24-year-old Leeds star is looking like a more 'commanding' presence, praising the stops Silvestri pulled out when the game was still tied at 0-0.
"He made two or three outstanding saves at 0-0 that were a real reflection on the game. I thought his game management and his distribution were good," the 49-year-old said.
"He just looks to have more presence and is more commanding. He's part of a young side that are really growing into themselves."

As Opta stats show, Silvestri's seven-save haul against Fulham was his joint-third-best performance of the season in terms of the number of saves he has made in a single match.
As well as show you how well he performed at Craven Cottage, however, the figures tell you the Italian has produced a number of classy displays already this campaign.
And, as Redfearn says, the 24-year-old is looking like a more and more commanding presence in between the sticks for Leeds.
Should the Yorkshire side aim for something big next season, then, Silvestri will no doubt play a key part in Leeds achieving their goals.
