Do you prefer Catenaccio to 4-4-2, Bielsa to Pulis? You are a football hipster.

Ahh, the football hipster. The province of Bielsista’s and St. Pauli obsessives. For those who stay awake to watch Argentina’s Primera B Nacional, and wish that Barcelona Under-12’s had a more natural false-nine in their ranks, rather than relying on that pacy forward who is just too one-dimensional.

Maybe you want to see the Catenaccio displace the 4-2-3-1 as football’s most familiar tactic, or would you go even further into the history books and rely on Herbert Chapman’s WM, or the famous ‘passing-game’ 2-2-6 formation that Scotland showed in their first international match with England in 1872.

Do you long for Marcelo Bielsa to join the Premier League, or to see Rot-Weiss Essen return to the heady days of 1955, when they ruled the German league?

Can you see a strikerless formation for the England national team that requires Jack Cork to play as a deep-lying playmaker, whilst Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe cut in from the flanks to create space for the energetic midfield running of James Ward-Prowse?

Wayne Rooney is not allowed for the football hipster. Nor are Manchester United, Chelsea, or Manchester City. Maybe you just disown the Premier League in its totality, as Serie A offers more competition, and clearly more entertainment.

All in all, are you a football hipster? Take the quiz below and find out for yourself!
