Tottenham Hotspur-owned Grant Ward has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in helping Coventry City to back-to-back wins in League One.
The 20-year-old midfielder moved to Coventry on loan for the rest of the season last week, as announced on Spurs’ official website last week.
The youngster made his debut for Coventry against Chesterfield away from home in League One on Saturday.
Ward gave a good account of himself at the Proact Stadium, setting up a goal in the Sky Blues’ 3-2 win.
The Englishman started Coventry’s League One encounter against Fleetwood Town away from home on Tuesday.
Ward played the entire 90 minutes, as Tony Mowbray’s side won 2-0 at the Highbury Stadium to enhance their chances of survival in the third tier of English football.
Coventry are currently 18th in the League One table with 43 points from 37 matches, three points above the relegation zone.
Spurs-owned Ward was delighted with Coventry’s victory on Tuesday and revelled in the triumph on Twitter.
