Tottenham Hotspur fans have been singing "there's only two Kyle Walkers" at recent development side matches.
The youngster is considered to be one of Tottenham's brightest prospects and Spurs fans have been quick to offer him encouragement.
The Lilywhites supporters have been heard chanting "there's only two Kyle Walkers" at recent FA Youth Cup matches, and the 17-year-old defender has had his say on his new chant.
"I always hear that, they sing it quite a lot and it makes me smile,” Walker-Peters told the FA.com.
"It’s great to have such support and to have all the fans there. I don’t think people take it into account how important it is as much as we do on the pitch. It really does help having that support.”
The song comes from the fact that Walker-Peters shares a similar name with current first-team right-back, Kyle Walker, but the comparisons between the two do not stop there.
Walker-Peters, like his senior counterpart, is a right-back blessed with great pace and a desire to get forward at every opportunity.
He is already standing out at under-21 level and the feeling is that he could have the potential to surpass his near-namesake in the future.
Walker has had a great career at the top-level and remains one of the more accomplished full-backs in the Premier League, but he is not irreplaceable and Walker-Peters' task, as he develops further, will be to take the England international's place in Tottenham's starting line-up.
