The former Arsenal goalkeeper anticipates a difficult game as they continue their pursuit of a record points total.
Both sides are playing pretty well with the Swans unlucky to lose out to Liverpool on Monday night and are nine points off breaking their Premier League record points total - but they face a side that is resurgent under Tim Sherwood.
He's quoted in the South Wales Evening Post: "They've picked up some results, that gives you confidence," added Fabianski.
"Looking at recent results, they look better than before that's for sure.
"It's going to be tough, every game is, but if we look at the first half against Liverpool and can reproduce that against Villa, it's going to be very interesting."
Villa have managed to win each of their last three games - two in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup to reach the semi-finals - and have moved themselves three points clear of the drop zone ahead of a difficult period of fixtures for them.
It's also a difficult period of fixtures for the Swans at the moment having recently played Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United and are on course for an impressive top half finish in Garry Monk's first full season in charge at the club.
It will be a difficult game to call as well given the form of both sides. Villa's tails are up and there is still a honeymoon period for manager Tim Sherwood, but Garry Monk - himself as well as his side - have shown they are capable of mixing it with the sides who are confident and are among the elite, and will feel they can get a result.
